Hi,

I'm going to publish my family-tree online. and looking for the best tool that compatible with my situation.
I found webtrees really worthful. however, I have several questions.
1- Is it possible to modify family-tree for other website users?
2- Is it possible for me to translate and add new language to my website interface (How)?

Best regards

Would you please precise what you mean by *modifying family tree for other website users*?
The short answer is the *administrator* of the site can create, modify and delete any family tree. A webtrees site could have many family trees and many users. Each users could be assigned to only one family tree if desired. webtrees allows also different privacy options to restrict a user to access data.

Yes, you may add your own custom language and/or contribute to translations and share the file with the community.

Hi Jackie,
And thank you very much for your answers.

I mean, for example, If it is possible for my cousins to add their children data to our family tree with their user accounts?

Regards

Cooperation and collaborative participation are the main reasons for webtrees popularity and are critical tenants.
Yes, your relatives (or anyone you choose) can register and, if you grant EDIT rights, they can modify anyone within their 'realm' - a relationship path.

Yes - very comprehensive and flexible, with much power.
