Place Check Errors in new site was created by thomas52
Managed to get most of my w/t up & running on my new site (with a good deal of help, thank you,) but now show about 400 "place check" errors.
Some cities, some counties, some countries missing lat-longs, with no apparent rhyme or reason (less than 1% fortunately.)
The database import appeared to complete successfully.
How best to get my "missing" places moved to the new domain?

If this did not exist in your previous installation, export the old GM places from the module and reimport those in your new setup, OR try to reimport the place_locations table again (it is one of the largest if you have noted many places).

Still some missed places for some reason, but not that difficult to solve.
There were flags for each county and each state in the USA, as well as appropriate flags for the English and German 'counties,' but not on the new installation.
I don't suppose there is any way for all the kings men to put those back together again, other than the old fashioned piecemeal?

Flags no longer included in the standard code installation. You can copy your flag files from your previous installation and FTP them into the new one (same manner as media files). The GM module should still have the references, but if not, you can reset the flags. The flag data is included in the downloaded GM place data.
