Finding different trees was created by molendid
Hello,
Sorry for my English, I'll try as good as possible to explain my problem..
A few years ago, I made my genea-tree. While I was doing my research, I found some persons who could be affiliated to my tree and added the person to webtrees. Everytime I found a relative of that person, I added them into webtrees.
Now, I don't know exactly what 'side-trees' I added in webtrees. Is there any possibility to find them? Something like finding the oldest ancestor..
PS its not only Orphans that I have to find..
Thanks for the help!
I hope my question is understandable..

You can try a stand-alone program called
Genealogica Graphica
Load your gedcom file into that. It will assist in finding irregularities, but will also find "islands" of isolated individuals that are not linked to I1.
Actually, your main tree will be identified as one of these islands, and a seemingly random person is picked as a handle for it.
Is that what you're looking for?
