webtrees 1.7.8 was created by fisharebest
webtrees 1.7.8 is now available for download.

It contains some minor bug fixes and updated translations.

There have been no significant changes, so any custom modules and themes that worked in the previous version should also work in this one.

As always, remember that webtrees only checks for updates every 24 hours, so you may not see the "upgrade" link until tomorrow.

Hello Greg,

Just auto upgraded to 1.7.8 and get the following in my error log after a 500 server error:

20160924T101800: genealogy.stephendowell.com/index.php
PHP Warning: require(/hermes/bosnaweb28a/b1458/ipg.fusionculinairecom/webtrees/vendor/composer/../swiftmailer/swiftmailer/lib/swift_required.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/bosnaweb28a/b1458/ipg.fusionculinairecom/webtrees/vendor/composer/autoload_real.php on line 66

My site is genealogy.stephendowell.com .

I wanted to pose this to you to see if you would happen to have any inside knowledge of this before delving headlong into problem solving. I did notice that the timestamp on my modules is about a day behind, don't know if this is relevant. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Steve D.

The error suggests that you are missing one of the files.

I presume you copied the files to the server using FTP, rather than using the upgrade wizard.

If so, I suggest you try copying the files again.

I did use the upgrade wizard before the problem surfaced. I went ahead and FTPd everything and that took care of it. Apparently, the wizard didn't run to completiion. Anyway, problem is fixed.

Thanks for your quick response!
