Problem then I import the *.GED fil - Image path was created by stonefox
Hi
Info :*.GED is exported from "MyHeritage" windows version
Then I import my "*.GED file, and look at the file in "Notepad++" I can se all images paths is wrong:
2 FORM jpg
2 TITL Steen Mikkelsen
2 FILE F:\Steen_Frank_Mikkelsens_Stamtrae-5_Photos\P1_180_180.jpg
2 _DATE 2011
2 _PRIM Y
Then I imported in "WebTrees" I enable "remove the mediapath"
URL : www.steenmikkeslen.dk/fam/
Do I have to use "Notepad++" to replace the old worng image path to a new one ?
And If yes, what is the correct path to all images, I have to write in the *.GED fil ?
Which folder on the webserver shall all my images oploades to ?

Where on your server did you place your photos? Based on where they live tells you what to use. You may not need anything.

By default, webtrees stores its media files in the folder data/media/
> 2 FILE F:\Steen_Frank_Mikkelsens_Stamtrae-5_Photos\P1_180_180.jpg
Did you copy this file to
data/media/Steen_Frank_Mikkelsens_Stamtrae-5_Photos/P1_180_180.jpg
or
data/media/P1_180_180.jpg
Depending on your answer, you will need to import the tree again, and enter either
F:\
or
F:\Steen_Frank_Mikkelsens_Stamtrae-5_Photos\
into the "Remove media path" option.

You don't need to edit the .GED file.
During import of the .GED file, enable "remove media path" and specify F:\blabla_photos\ as the path to remove. Let the gedcom import replace that with nothing.
Then your photos are supposed to be in a subfolder data/media wherever you installed webtrees.
Good luck, and welcome!

It was exactly what I did, but it was still the wrong path to to all pictures, sow "WebTrees" don't accept it, the it imported my *.GED fil
The best thing would be if I could export from "MyHeritage" so that the paths to the images matched from the start, but I can see that the path in the *.GED file refers to where I export the file to and where the images are to be saved.
There must be others in this forum that use or have used "MyHeritage" and who knows the solution.

You can leave the thumbs folder empty. These will be generated by webtrees (on first access of the picture I presume)
