I set up a demo family tree for my relatives who are to be editors of our family tree.
With the demo tree they can edit its data to try various functions of webtrees.
I would like the demo tree to be set back to its initial state regularly.
Can anybody recommend the best way to achieve this?
Thanks for a hint.
Josef

On the webtrees demo server, I created two backups:

1) an export of the database - using mysqldump.
2) a copy of the media files in the /data folder

I have a "cron" job (a scheduled task) on the server which restores the site
from these two backups every night.

rsync -ad --quiet /home/webtrees/webtrees-data.backup/ /home/webtrees/webtrees-data
mysql < /home/webtrees/webtrees.backup.sql
