I've been happily using webtrees for a long time. Yesterday, I upgraded my web server EasyApache version from 3 to 4 and with it came a Php upgrade. Now, whenever I try to display a person who has a nickname, I get this error:

Wrong charset, conversion from `utf-8' to `utf-16be' is not allowed

The nickname is displayed properly (with smart double open quote and smart double close quote) in the list, but when I click on any such name, I get the above error. I'm assuming the problem is somehow related to my Php installation, but exactly what escapes me.

Solved: apparently the iconv module was not installed automatically when Php was upgraded.
So, I just needed to install the Php iconv module:
yum install ea-php71-php-iconv
All is good again.
