I was looking for what is changed in webtrees 2.0.12 and 2.0.13. Suddenly I saw 2.1 is released...
I want to try the new version. The link at webtrees.net/download is not working.
Where can I find this new version (and/or a list of changes in the new versions?

Best regards,
Marianne

It is not ready yet. See many other posts on the forum.

It adds compatibility with PHP8.0 and drops compatibility with PHP 7.2 and 7.1.

I'm very anxious to get it, since my server has upgraded to php8 and I don't have 7.4 available any more.

Hi ron,

One of the libraries we use has a php-8 compatibility bug.

I've reported it, and the author says a fix is coming.

github.com/Nyholm/psr7/issues/175

Once this fix is available, I will be able to publish webtrees 2.1.0, which will be compatible with PHP 8

Hi again -

Looking at the proposed change, it seems a simple patch. Have you considered applying it locally to fix the issue (rather than waiting for an official release)?

Any news here? My family tree is down since I updated to PHP8 two month ago. It would be great if you could put this on the agenda again. Please and thanks for you great work.
