Hi everyone!

I was trying to install web trees this weekend. The first time I referenced the new subdirectory on my www-root, 'webtrees' tried to run setup.php. Makes sense, I guess, but didn't accomplish anything but display of a blank browser window. Now, I'm not running on a classic Apache web-server, but on Internet Information Server 7.5. This doesn't seem to have bothered other PHP-software (such as Magento-webstore), but I wanted to mention it nonetheless, just in case it does make a difference. IIS 7.5 runs on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64 bit). PHP-Version is 5.3.13, MySQL-Version is 5.1. I'd be grateful for any ideas you might have relating to my problem.

A blank screen generally indicates that

1) PHP has encountered a fatal error

2) your server is configured not to show errors on screen.

So, check your IIS logs for error messages
