Looking at an item in mediaviewer.php, I clicked the edit pencil under the word "Filename" (which actually introduces path/name/format/title).

In the edit_interface.php popup, I clicked the calendar icon. The calendar overflows the form on the right and on the bottom, but overflow is hidden. The overflow itself is because the dates are too wide. The calendar table width is set to 100% but it is inline instead of in CSS. At first, I blamed FireFox for treating it as 100% of screen width instead of the width of the enclosing TD. But then I checked the default them and it looks OK there. I don't understand that because the thing is drowning in inline CSS and nested tables, so how can it be theme dependent?

Probably nothing much. I'll try and sort this for the next release.

Add this line to the style sheet, with the other "edit_interface-page" settings:
#edit_interface-page div[id^="caldiv"] .descriptionbox{min-width:auto;}

Thanks! That made the horizontal excellent.

There is still vertical cut-off, I think. HTML looks like there are more than the four rows that are visible. I tried putting different values of overflow in different places but didn't succeed.

I think there is something wrong with the styling of that whole add-media pop-up. I'll hopefully get chance to look at it in a few days.

I think it looks pretty good, but if you're going to work on it, I'd suggest a tiny bit of space around the form to show off the rounded corners better.

It looks like there is an unnecessary "position:relative;" on the #content tag at around line 154.

Remove that, and give it a while to be sure it doesn't have any adverse effects elsewhere, then let me know. So far it seems to be OK on my system.

I've found why that "position:relative;" was there. Without it the lines on the pedigree chart disappear. So you should put that back in place.

The correct solution for the calendar problem is to add this:

#body_simple #content{position:inherit}

Thanks. Don't use pedigree much, so I would have taken a while to find that.
Copied in the new one; see what happens.
