Hi
Transferred over from PHPGedView it went really easily.
I have a problem that seems easy but all my attempts to correct have failed.
Most of what I have read is to remove a person.
But I want to change a husband that is a brother and must stay in the family.
the site is our-family-tree.com
The link to the family is.
our-family-tree.com.au/our/individual.ph...=Our%20Family%20Tree
Mary Ann Barnard 1845 was really married to Edward Dan Meakins not William as is shown.
What the heck am I missing for this simple change.
Thanks

The link to the family is.

That is a link to an INDIVIDUAL, not a FAMILY.

I'm not just being pedantic here, the two types of object are different, and have different pages, edit screens, etc.

Go to the family page, which is probably this one,

our-family-tree.com.au/our/family.php?fa...=Our%20Family%20Tree

and choose "Edit"->"Change Family Members" from the menu. You can then remove one husband and add another.

Hello Applej

The Function of Changing Family Members is the subject of two bug reports. The latest is here:

bugs.launchpad.net/webtrees/+bug/1100139

I use this function a lot and although initially very frustrated I am now familiar with what occurs (or doesn't). The brief explanation is that the change to the field is not populated with the new person and this can be very confusing. I also think there are other issues with it when making multiple changes at the one time. I now only change one person at a time. When you have made the change, irrespective if the changed field is blank, click the Save button and the changes will be made.
