Further to some problems I was having with "Edit by other user", I'm setting up new Family File. Under Privacy, restrictions, some of the Facts are no longer listed that I have within my GEDCOM. How do I set the privacy for them (some are carried over; some active)?

Research task (active)
Descendants interest (old)
Filename (old)
Web URL (old)

There is no such tags as "Descendants interest (old)" that I am aware of, and all the others sound like something mis-entered. What are the actual GEDCOM tags these refer to? webtrees has "research tags" or something similar, the "_TODO" tag. Is that what you mean?

I have no idea what you mean by "some are carried over; some active". Carried over from what or where?

What do you mean by a "Family File"? Do you mean you are starting a whole new Family Tree from scratch or what?

Perhaps start the question over again, using words and phrases we understand, and explaining what you are doing in some more detail, perhasp including why you are doing it. It sounds a bit drastic as a response to you previous minor server problem. Incidentally, I don't think you ever told us what you did to fix that?

The privacy tab uses the list of facts from the edit tab.

Add the tags here first. Then you will see them in the privacy tab.

PS - setting privacy against a tag is broken in 1.3.2

Wait for 1.4.0, which will happen just as soon as I get 3 hours free....

Ah, thanks. Because the entry window (for tags) isn't wide enough, didn't remember all the tags I had. (Took a screen snap and saved). I took snaps of the popup selection window (several as it doesn't stretch) to keep. Hence, if I do recreate a tree, can replicate my settings.

PS: "Some carried over" = used in PGV and brought over to webtrees. Esp. "Descendants interest" (or whatever) when I tried to wean away from Research Asst.

The window and the database are limited in size. You can not list every tag available.

Just was trying to capture ones I selected vs the ones offered in webtrees. I went to the Log "Config" and found it there. So will save into file for reference.

PS: Went to the GEDCOM 5.1.1 file and saw DESI /DESCENDANT_INT which I added to my list and then set to Managers only in Privacy. Now I use _TODO tag.
