I use them as a list of things that require additional research.

e.g.

"Check this fact at the public records office"

"Ask cousin Joe for a photograph"

You add research tasks to indivdiuals, families, etc.

You display the research tasks in a block on the home page.

OK,
OK, in addition, it is suggested that the screenshot show the name of the person and the registered user name is not appropriate.

In English the column is User Name. That is the login name of whoever created the todo research task. Just how it is... Maybe the heading needs correction (if you are pedantic about it) because it shows the ID and not the full name.

You have started another subject. Better do that in a new topic, but never mind for now.

You should do it reversed: main name is her name at birth, before marriage, aka maiden name. You can add another married surname when creating. Or even add a whole secondary name after creation. Each name has a type: birth, married, adopted, etcetera.

This is a thing of cultural convention, so I don't know the Chinese habits. You could put the married name as the first name and birth name second.

We show the username for two reasons:

1) It is unique. Two users can have the same real name. But they will always have different usernames.

2) The user account may have been renamed - or it might not exist. It is just text. It does not link to a user account.
