(I think) I would like to display to my visitors all the details which are not privacy restricted.
I am not able to find the right setting in webtrees.
Who can help me to do so?

Kind regards,
Guido

Um. That's how it works by default...

If there are privacy restrictions, then visitors cannot see the details.
If there are no privacy restrictions, then visitors can see the details.

Perhaps give an example of what you want?

I am sorry, my mistake!

I want to display the details for me and other people who permits, but not the restricted details. In the tree settings in the sub menu Privacy - Privacy restrictions I can add my name. When I do that also the restricted details are displayed.

So you want your own record to be public, except for certain facts.

The demo site does this for Queen Elizabeth. She is still livng - and so private.

We make her public by adding a privacy restriction "show to public". e.g.

0 @I1@ INDI
1 RESN none

We can still hide some of the facts by giving them a privacy restriction. For example you could hide your birth details using

1 BIRT
2 RESN privacy

> In the tree settings in the sub menu Privacy - Privacy restrictions

Yes, you *can* add privacy settings here. However, it is much better to add them to your record using RESN tags.

This option is designed for people who edit their tree offline - with software that does not support privacy functions.
