Hi,

I tried to add an entry on the webtrees Add-ons page here: www.webtrees.net/index.php/en/add-ons/category/3-modules
I filled the forms and clicked "Save". I got a message: "Item submitted". However, the modules list doesn't contain my entry.
Is this awaiting moderation or something? Does adding to this list work at all? The most recent upload is from August 2017.

Thanks,
Przemek

I'm the admin of the site, but I didn't get any notification of a new upload.

I found one that was uploaded today called "topola". Is this your module?

I changed the status from "unpublished" to "published", but it still does not appear.
I don't know what else to do.

If there are any "Joomla" experts who can help me here....

I just noticed that the module is visible when I'm not logged in. When I log in, it's not there anymore.
This doesn't help a lot because downloading is disabled for anonymous users :-)

It should be fixed now.

There is an access level called "Guest", which is designed to block access to logged-in users.

So, I need to change the access level as well as publishing.

Now it works the other way around – visible to logged in users but not to guests. It should be possible to make it visible to everyone because the other addons are visible to both logged in users and anonymous guests.
Also, the Topola addon is now visible twice because I did 2 attempts at publishing it. Can you please remove one of them?

Thanks,
Przemek

@PeWu
Testing your module, I get the error message:
Failed to load file
Cannot read property 'tree' of undefined
webtrees 2.0.4 patched at visitusinmaputo.com/webtree PHP 7.2.9
webtrees 2.0 dev on local WampServer PHP 7.3.1

@HRN
Thanks for the feedback. What version of webtrees are you running?
Could you look at the browser Javascript console and send me the logs that appear on the console? Here are instructions how to open the console: kb.mailster.co/how-can-i-open-the-browsers-console/
If this is a public site, I could debug it myself if you gave me the address.

Nothing on the console.

I see the problem. I hardcoded the module's folder name in one place as `topola` and you put the module in `topola-webtrees`.
A quick workaround for you is to change the module's folder name to `topola`. I will need to change the module to accept other folder names.

Ah, I should have noticed. I just downloaded from github, and extracted to folder. Fixed now.
Thank you!

I think I have fixed the notification problem -- email sent to you for a new upload.
the permissions thing is murky -- jdownloads and joomla. I did a test and things appear to be working correctly.

Hi,

My module (Topola) is still only visible only for logged in users, not for anonymous users, and it's listed twice (my 2 attempts to add it). Do you think you could correct it?

I'm pretty sure there was a "login" link in the top right corner. Did it disappear?

Thanks,
Przemek
