Is it correct if in the "Lists" I set "Visible for members" for "Families" then the families are displayed for visitors in the tab under the "Search list"? When a person is selected you will see the family tree chart. Is it possible to custimize the search list?

Yes, This is correct.

The "Family list" module controls the page that you see in "Lists -> Families".

Anything can be customised - if you have sufficient skill with PHP, HTML and JS.

You could use JS to remove the checkbox for searching families.
If this is removed, there will be no families in the results.

Sorry this is not my logical understanding.
When I say in the list selection: "The visitor may not select families".
But he can still see the families on the search list.

If I have this knowledge, I can also do a better "webtree".

Really?

May I ask what exactly do you want visitors not to see. Is it specific data that needs to be hidden, or is it specific functions you don't want them yo use, which enables visitors to access data more easily?
stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v1.7.13

I want simple functionality for visitors and protects my data.
The search list is an independent function that does not correspond to customizing.
- I say no families ->
- I say no charts ->
- If Place hierarchy is active -> List with 10000 and more entries can be seen
etc.
