Changing the landing page was created by gwizzz
Just started with WebTrees so still finding my way around but would like to change the logon behaviour.
After signing on the landing page is my-page. Is it possible to change the landing page to the Family Tree page.

It is open-source software, and you are encouraged to modify it to suit your needs.
The code that handles this is here:
github.com/fisharebest/webtrees/blob/2.0...eTrait.php#L278-L281
You would need to modify this file after every upgrade.
Or, if you know how to program in PHP, create a custom theme which extends an existing
theme and provides its own version of `function menuLogin()`

Hello,
I would like to redirect the landing page after login directly to the home page of the tree, instead of user page. I was looking for some answers, but found only this topic. Your answer points to the ModuleThemeTrait.php file and "switch from the tree-page to the user-page" part. I have checked this file on my server and this part looks exactly the same as the reffered file on the github. So what exactly I have to modify to reach the goal? I would like to mention that I'm not skilled in PHP.
Thank you.
Tom

As far as I know, there exists already a custom module to get this possibility. But see also : www.webtrees.net/index.php/en/forum/4-cu.../reply/83798?quote=1

The link is
github.com/miqrogroove/family-tree-home
You can search for all custom modules in the German webtrees manual on this page . There you will find an entry for the module family-tree-home.
