In my family we use the 'On this day' module on our Webtree front page every day.
When I click on the toolbox at the upper left corner I come to 'On this day - Preferences'.
Standard events are: Birth, Marriage, Death
I have added: Baptism, Confirmation - from the drop down list
- and clicked 'Save'.

It has no effect. I still get the three standard events only.

Anything I have missed?

I add events and they stay. Version 2.1.16.

Did you disable all additional modules?

Your site does not help without access
to have possibility to reproduce.

My problem is that when I add the extra 'Baptism, Confirmation' followed by 'Save' this events do not appear in the 'On this day' - Module.

I've used Franz's site as he suggested, set it to show Baptism anniversaries and added a Baptism event for an individual (Bob Miller) with a date of 25 MAY 1950. It correctly shows as an anniversary for today.

Are you sure you have Baptism and/or Confirmation events in your tree with an anniversary occurring today?

I suggest, that you take a screenshot from your edits and the save-page and from where you controlled your edits.

On the other hand you can check the corresponding at dfrese.de.

Don't forget that entries in this module are covered by privacy rules. e..g if a baptism event is for a still living person then that person will not be visible to anyone not logged in.

And there are 2 pages where you can have "On this day": the "my page" and the "family tree" page. Both configured separately.
