Show the %1$s %2$s parts of a place name

In Spanish, this sounds even worse than in English, since the article and the adjective have number.

1: Mostrar la última parte de un nombre de lugar (not "Mostrar las una últimas partes de un nombre de lugar"
2: Mostrar las dos últimas partes de un nombre de lugar
3: Mostrar las tres últimas partes de un nombre de lugar

I don't see any solution, though. What is the default setting?

Can you make the default setting three? Then it would at least look OK until the user selects "one"

(Also, the two replacements have to be feminine in Spanish.)

<<I don't see any solution, though.>>

Initially, I considered using "part(s)" for the English.

Could you use something like

Mostra la(s) ultima(s) %s parte(s) de un nombre de lugar

<<What is the default setting? >>

The default is 9 (i.e. show all parts).

:-) i have seen that done before. I should have thought of it. Thanks.

Still doesn’t look great, but at least it shows we thought about the problem.

On the other hand, if we do just the plural, it will look right to anyone who doesn’t select “one.” Do you think that would be seldom selected?
