Hi,

Couldn't find anything in forum related, decided to ask.

Any plans to make mailing lists for ongoing events? Let say this week is someone's birthday or any other event (marriage, death, graduation, etc.), I want to setup email announcement for specific events with exact prior delays in days to specific users. Also, users should have ability to adjust those settings.

This module can send daily digest to email: github.com/UksusoFF/webtrees-reminder
But it's required some server configuration and it's on early development.

I did as per described. Unfortunately, I have only `webtrees/modules_v3` directory. Can't see module in Module administration. Should I change anything else?

You are on webtrees 1.7, but module works only with 2.0 version.

Good question, I do upgrades ones it asked for. How to check what version is installed? Initial installation was several years ago.

You can see it on admin panel. Most likely you on 1.7.x
