I personally still do much of my editing in raw GEDCOM. But for people who don't like that method, the form to add or edit birth should support PEDI.

Suppose we add a child to a family and don't select PEDI (or select "birth"). Then later we find out they were adopted. Is there any way other then editing raw to change it?

Hi,

Is there any way other then editing raw to change it?

So far I have chosen the following way:
Individual -> Facts and Events -> Add Adoption
However, this procedure does not create a '2 PEDI adopted' in the individual's GEDCOM raw data (below '1 FAMC').
So far I have not noticed the missing PEDI entry because wt correctly indicates the child as adopted.

But is the missing PEDI item possibly a bug in webtrees?

If you use the option "Link this individual to an existing family as a child",
you can select the existing parents - and select a different pedigree.

That's workable, but possibly not intuitive. I still think it should be an option on the birth form.
