Many record-adding pop-ups allow entering the name of a source or clicking a + to create a new one.

But the create source pop-up asks for an existing REPO and won't support creating one.

Would be convenient if the latter behaved like the former.

Me either.

When I recollect correctly, Greg explained some time ago that creating a new repository from within creating a new source would cause nested windows. That was not possible with the new code environment.

Correct. We use "bootstrap" to create our user-interface.

Bootstrap does not allow one "modal dialog" to open another.

So, if you are editing a record, and create a new object (in a modal dialog), then that form cannot create a new modal dialog.

Hi Greg,

is it possible to set a flag and start a second modal dialog for editing the source record when the first modal dialog is finished?

Best regards
Peter

Maybe a checkbox to say you want to add the REPO (so the user has the option to skip it).
