Hello,
using webtrees since years (thanks to all contributors), I'm facing a blocked situation :(

context : webtrees 1.7.16 php 7.4

After too many wrong updates, I decided to import a gedcom backup saved few days before the wrong updates.

Gedcom size > 2 Mo

The import process is blocked all times at 26.9% -- I tryed multiple time with the same result
I also try with another webtrees in another place with the same result

Questions :
- Is there any log to understand why and where the import process is blocked?
- how to investigate?

Thanks a lot in advance for your support

Vincent

You use php 7.4?? webtrees 1.7.x only runs on php up to v7.3. Me thinks you would not notice until you do gedcom import & export.
Can you downgrade php easily?

Edit: here are some instructions to "reset" a stuck import
www.webtrees.net/index.php/en/forum/help...ge-gedcom-file#78727

Edit 2: advice from another thread, these instructions sound more familiar:

Greg wrote: In your database, delete all the rows from the table wt_gedcom_chunk.

This will abort the import. You can now delete the tree, or try to import a different file.

stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v1.7.13

Hi bertkoor,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I totaly missed the point related to PHP 7.4 and my webtrees seemes to work for month.
Nevertheless, I take the opportunity to move to Webtrees 2 ... successfuly :)
Thanks again.
