Hi,

in the new version 2.x there are no entries for the type "search" in my logs.

Kind regards

I didn't add search-logs to webtree 2, because I didn't think that anybody used/needed/wanted them...

I use the 'search' in logs in v1.7 and find it extremely useful.

It is very interesting to see the specific names/places etc that people who stumble upon my site search for, but they obviously cannot be bothered to register or contact me personally.

I would miss this once I upgrade to v2. Could we please have the functionality added to v2?

I would also vote for an implementation.

Hi guys,

I'm missing that feature, too. It was helpful on webtrees 1.x looking at that type from time to time.

I would appreciate all searches to be logged which are made when not logged into any tree. That would show what other people are looking for on my site without getting in touch.

I'm not interested on any searches which are made when logged into any tree. It's obvious that the generic search is used by any members. That only would fill report pages with superfluos information.

Yes, a search log for not logged in users would be helpful. I'm missing this, too.
