default settings for reports was created by Bogie
Hi,
How can I set or change the defaults for reports?
Especially in 'Reports - Individual' or 'Reports - Family' the radio button for 'HTML' and button for 'view' always have the focus. I would prefer the radio button for 'PDF' and button for 'download' having the focus because I almost never use HTML views.

Is there any way to change the defaults?

Hi Bogie,
I have not found a solution but was locking for the same feature. Under webtrees 1.7.x I dived into the php-files and changed the settings to my preference there. As I just changed to webtrees 2.03 I have not had the time to look into this.
Does this help?
I wasn't safisfied with my own answer and started to look around for where the files moved in version 2.x. I found them in the folder webtrees/sources/xml/reports. The file you like to edit is the "individual_report.xml". On the top of that file each line starting with "<Input ..." has a "default=" value. This value is what you like to change.
The other file to edit is the "family_group_report.xml" in th esame foulder.

I have just updated the code so it will remember the format (PDF/HTML) and destination (view/download).
When you create a report, webtrees will use the same settings as previously.
