Mr A conceived a child at Mrs B: Mr. D
A and B never married, the relation was broken.
A married C and got children..

How do I add the child of Mrs. B?
First I had to enter the "relation" of A and B. Do I have to enter it as a marriage without check the checkbox 'marriage'?
After that I can enter Mr. D.
Is that right?

Any other help is also welcome.

Best regards,
Guido van Harten

Yes - that sounds correct.

To create relationships in GEDCOM, you need a "family" record.

(Note - a family does not need two parents. You can create a family from one child and one parent)

You can also add note/sources/etc to the family record to explain the situation.

Indeed, don't tick the "married" box. What I then do is add a "Not Married" event (raw gedcom "1 _NMR") to indicate to not look any further. Absence of a fact is hard to proof.
stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v1.7.13
