Duplicate media objects was created by rsbarreiro
Media objects with more than one file appear duplicated in the media list. see attachments ...
I solved the problem on my page by editing the ListController.php file by applying "array_unique" to the list of objects.

Hi rsbarreiro,

Let me just ask a question which has nothing to do with WebTrees
I might see that your photos have been colourized.
The result is very good.
Which is the tool that you have used to perform this task ?

Thanks in advance

Christian

I used an application on my phone (I couldn't find a desktop version or a similar one that would do the job well).
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ml.colorize.app
It allows you to color up to 10 photos, above that you have to subscribe to the service, but it is not expensive, I signed.

I ended up discovering by chance that this is the colorization technology used in the app I mentioned.
github.com/jantic/DeOldify
It seems to me a very interesting project ... I believe that this in a module within the webtrees would be fantastic ...

This is the technik which is used by MyHeritage and unfortunately not available as standalone application.

Someone with the necessary skills could possibly fork it and make a module for webtrees. Just don't know if the license is compatible with webtrees.

But you can use this: deepai.org/machine-learning-model/colorizer

The DeOldify software requires a powerful graphics card.
Servers do not have graphics cards.

You will need to run this on your desktop computer.

@Greg

Can the API be used by webtrees? See link above.
