Gmail users not receiving emails was created by vdrumsroland
I just upgraded and have noticed that the emails that are sent to gmail users are not being received. It appears to work just fine for other email account holders. I'm using SMTP, no DKIM.
The account that I use for SMTP does have a DKIM set up for itself so I don't know if that is what it causing the issues?
Thank you

So, Google is rejecting the mails because your domain is configured with DKIM, but the email doesn't have a DKIM signature.

Isn't that exactly how DKIM is supposed to be used?

Why don't you enter your DKIM details into webtrees?

Scratch that. I thought it was setup but it appears that it is not. Back to the drawing board.
On a side note, the emails finally came thru on my test gmail sends. It only took 2 hours to receive them.

Another question for when my hosting replies with the correctly setup DKIM. What is to go in the "Selector" field? I will have the key and domain.

Isn't this value in the DNS records? If you'd posted the domain name, we could look it up for you.

OK, a little more googling says it is a subdomain off your main domain - and I can't guess it.

Can you access your DNS settings?

I ran a scan on MXToolBox and it shows that the Selector is, "default". Do I just put the word default in that field or something else?
I tried to just input "default" and send a test email. It didn't send.

"default" would be a perfectly normal/valid selector.

You would have chosen it when you set up DKIM initially.
