Hey,

i don't get it, how i can get a bigger Ancestor tree print to a pdf. I can print to pdf, but then it just shows the things that are actualy on the screen, not the whole tree.
I know it was possible in the older Versions of webtrees 1.xx, not it doesn't seem to work any more... or i'm just not able to figure it out :(

I'd like to have the tree in a pdf, jpg, ... whatever, just being able to forward it to someone in a printable format.

Graphical charts tend to be problematic when printing them. I assume you don't like the layout of the Ancestors Report?

thx for your help, pedigree does the thing :)

@Makitso: The layout is not bad, it's just not possible export it... not directly into a graphic or pdf nore via the print menu.
I need to look again when i'm on a pc that has a plotter installed, but i doubt that it works there so it prints the tree instead of the page that shows a part of the tree.

As long as an addon does the trick it's fine.

A great thing would be if you could choose some dpi resolutions for the png export of Pedigree, that would be the overkill for it :)

just wanted to let you know what i do with webtrees.
I feed it with our whole village, birth-, marriage-, deathbooks of our church, various lists and documents from our village archive and ofc personal data from interested persons.
