Firstly - a huge thank you for all of the enhancements recently to Place - Location handling, it has helped me find a number of issues that have slipped into my tree over the years!

Running version 2.0.15....

Looking at the Place Hierarchy page I have this entry showing 0 Individuals or Families.

Selecting "View table of events occurring in Barry County, Michigan, United States" there is nothing found which is consistent with the above

However I was able to locate this Fact on an Indi record, so shouldn't it have been counted and identified above?
1 OCCU Teacher - Home Economics
2 AGNC Hastings High School
2 DATE 1927
2 PLAC Hastings, Barry County, Michigan, United States

EDIT
: I note a similar behavior here with a DEAT, so I have not fixed this record yet. It is not picked up at the lowest level of the Place Hierarchy but is located 1 level higher.

webtrees maintains a number of "search indexes" to help it find dates, places, etc.

The counts are created from these indexes. (Here, the table wt_placelinks).

It is possible that this table is out-of-date.

You can rebuild it by exporting to a GEDCOM file and re-importing.

Does this fix the problem for you?

I'll give it a try. Since I have only the one tree in my database, are there tables I should truncate 1st for better results? Or will the act of importing the GEDCOM do that automatically?

Finally had a chance to get back to this. Re-importing the ged seems to have resolved the issues, thanks!
