Working with webtrees 2.1.6 and gedcom 7.0
I am looking for the right way to display republican dates. I tried months abbreviated and full, year in Roman, etc.
Nothing seems to be correct...

2 DATE @#DFRENCH R@ 24 PRAI 7

Who can help me?

Best regards,
Marianne

Try disabling them temporarily?

If that fixes the problem, enable them one by one.

I disabled all the modules by renaming modules_v4 to modules_v4x.
Now I don't see the French republican dates. I don't know why...

What exactly do you see?

Can you post a URL where we can see this?

Of course!
Look at wezijnallemaalfamilie.nl/tree/tree/indiv...0911/Catrina-de-Bokx
The birth section's gedcom is:
1 BIRT
2 DATE 13 JUN 1799
2 DATE @#DFRENCH R@ 24 PRAI 7
2 ADDR
3 CITY Zaamslag
3 PLAC Zaamslag
4 _LOC @L31139@

You have entered 2 dates.

This is not valid GEDCOM - there can be only one - and webtrees is looking at the first date.

webtrees can automatically convert dates. By default, it converts dates to the gregorian calendar.

This means that if you enter a french-republican date, webtrees will convert it - and show *both*.

As far as I remember: in the past I saw two dates, a julian date and a french-republican one.
In other circumstances webtrees shows the gedcom code of the erroneous code in red. May be a good option for this situation also?

This still happens. See my screenshot in post #2.

I entered the french-republican date. webtrees converted to gregorian automatically, and shows the converted date in parentheses.

If you don't see the conversion, look at the family-tree preferences page.
