Since a few weeks my family tree doesn't show the images in my tree.
I checked if the files are on the given path.
What can I do to repair this problem?

Best regards,
Marianne

What does it show? No image at all? Or a red box with 404?
Check your values of the data & media folder in config.ini.php.
Check the path in the media objects.

fisharebest wrote: As for the 404 messages, take 3 things:

1) the "data folder" in the site settings. Default data/
2) the "media folder" in the tree settings. Default media/
3) the filename as it appears in your GEDCOM file. e.g. photos/grandma.jpeg

Combine all 3 = data/media/photos/grandma.jpeg

webtrees looks here. If it can't find it (which might be due to filesystem read/write access on the folders), you'll get a 404.

stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v1.7.13

I think Marianne is talking about the slide-show module.

It will display this message if all images are hidden by privacy settings.

The tree only shows dates, names. places, etc.: all except images.

The strange thing about my config.ini.php is that line 1 has my password; line 2 is empty, line 3 is "; <?php exit; ?> DO NOT DELETE THIS LINE". The following lines are the expected content.
The slideshow represents the error as given in the title of this forum message.
On the pages of the individuals I see the photographs!

This isn't right. I just deleted this line for you.

Here, it is not a problem - because the webserver blocks access to this file, and the database server is not accessible externally.

The block has a config option: "show photos of facts", "show photos of individuals".

Perhaps you need to change this setting?
