facts in places tab are not listed, if place is known. Is this wanted behavior?
I expect the fact and for clicking on unknown place: the world hierarchy should be shown (or no reaction, or not defined message)
select

This is how it was designed. We only show places when we have a location for them.

IIRC, we also use the parent-place location. So, you would only need to store the location of each country.

But facts/events exist, even without location.
I would list them at least.

Ok works as designed, but design can be changed.

A fact/event is NOT a location or place! I could have a FACT that my eyes are blue, why would I have a place listed?

It would be illogical to ask anyone to put a pin on a map without knowing where to locate the pin.

Why can't you just enter:

Clarence House, City of Westminster, London, England

Please, Don't change the design when we have a perfectly good and working way of putting a pin on a map.

They already are - in the Facts and events tab. If they need to be shown on the map/sidebar then just add the geographic data.

Totally agree. The map and it's sidebar compliment each other and should be consistent - as they are now.

Totally Agree...

... and assuming you're logged in, by clicking, tapping whatever on the unknown place in the facts and event tab you're taken straight to the page to add a location for that place

sorry, if my english is not fine enough to explain my idea detailed enough!
I registered: works as designed!
... and assuming I'm logged in, if I do not need to change to the facts and event tab, I could be taken straight to the page to add a location for that place, that would be nice in my opinion (especially since the facts and event tab can also be hidden).

p.s.: I do not think that facts like blue eyes should be listed there.
