Who can help me to solve this fault I made?
I had my own tree (A). Two years ago I merged another tree (B) into my tree. Some records were wrong, but I realized that too late, one year ago. In the meantime I modified my tree many times.
I reorganized the original tree B and corrected the errors and merged it again and hoped I can deduplicate it easily, but it's very hard to do it.
What is the best way to do now?

Best regards,
Marianne

Yes, I did.
It result in a long list (>10,000) duplicates, so I am looking for a more automated way.

Do you have other decision criteria besides the name?

Yes, when records duplicate, often the persons have also parents with the same name (also duplicates: A is child of B and C; D is child of E and F; A=D; B=E; C=F),

With "often" you do not have a "decision criteria" for automated solution.

I do not know if there is something like "deleting branch" in webtrees. A lot of your duplicates could be removed with that.
