Moving website host company - database problem...? was created by ianusher
Hi there,
I plan on moving my website from my current host (ICDsoft) to Hostgator. My webtrees installation is at
http:familytree.ianusher.com (currently still hosted by ICDsoft)
and all is working well.
I have figured out how to my database with phpMyAdmin, and also importing it to Hostgator.
However, the database has to have a new name at Hostgator.
What do I need to change in webtrees to make it recognise and use the new database when I transfer all other files over to my new host?
Many thanks,
Ian

The database connection is specified in data/config.ini.php
Edit this file as appropriate.
