1 BURI
2 DATE 29 MAR 1740
2 PLAC Voivres-lès-le-Mans 72381, Sarthe, Pays de la Loire, France
2 ASSO @I3464@
3 RELA Mère
2 ASSO @I69@
3 RELA Soeur

Question :

GT :
Question:
Tagged 3 RELA is it necessary? It seems to duplicate.
webtrees he determines relations alone as a great?

Well, no, but yes. It may, in some cases, seem redundant from certain relationships, but not in all cases, and what's wrong with specificity? It would not be obvious that someone was merely a friend, neighbor or business associate, but only a sister, or brother, etc.

From the standard:

RELATION_IS_DESCRIPTOR:= {Size=1:25}
A word or phrase that states object 1's relation is object 2. For example you would read the following
as "Joe Jacob's great grandson is the submitter pointed to by the @XREF:SUBM@":
0 INDI
1 NAME Joe /Jacob/
1 ASSO @<XREF:SUBM>@
2 RELA great grandson

ASSO {ASSOCIATES}:=
An indicator to link friends, neighbors, relatives, or associates of an individual.

Google translation :
I can possibly remove all relationships webtrees determines automatically and keep only the exotic relationships (neighbors, friends, nurse, etc ...). For this, I would have to know what are the relationships recognized automatically by webtrees?

The better question, IMO, is why go to all that trouble? Yes, the French seem to use more ASSO tags than other nationalities, but even so, is it so redundant and obnoxious in repetition to specify the relationship? Personally, I don't find it so, but rather refreshing as to why someone is listed as an ASSO without having to look about or guess.

webtrees will calculate all relationships within 4 steps.

e.g. father -> brother -> daughter = cousin (3 steps)

...
Je pourrais ne rien signaler du tout, mais, comme vous, "but rather refreshing as to why someone is listed as an ASSO"

Google translation :
1 - The French software most used can easily be noted ASSO. So the reporting is common.
2 - No way not to report, but to avoid an ugly dual display:
Mother: mother
Sister, younger sister
Brother: brother
...
I can not report anything at all, but, like you,"Rather refreshing view as to why someone is listed as an ASSO"

OK.
OK. I will remove the labels until cousin. For cousins, it is more complicated.
