Hey,
since last version (1.7.14) it seems there is something wrong with printing bigger trees over more papers.
I tried to print on 3 different Pc's with different printers and on pdf, everywhere the same problem.
As a pic says more then 1000 words here it is:

I have not seen anything like this.

What steps would I take to reproduce the problem?

Hey,
well.. i have a tree with 6 generations.
i open it under Charts/Ancestors.
the i press ctrl-p for printing window.
and on the preview it shows me the pic above.

No matter if i choose a printer or to print it as pdf, it stays like shown in the pic.
ofc i printed it, the view on the paper was like in the preview.

> i open it under Charts/Ancestors.

The screenshot in your first post looks like Chart/Pedigree.

I've tried "print to pdf" and "preview" on my own computer for both the reports, and don't see a problem.

Do you see the same problem on the demo site?
What browser / operating system are you using?

Your first post shows a screenshot with overlapping chart-boxes.

I guess that the overlap was your problem...

The PDF in your last post does not have any overlapping chart-boxes - but you say it has the same problem.

Am I missing something? What exactly is the problem that you are seeing?

Also, tell me what browser and operating system you are using. What version of windows? What version of IE/Chrome/Firefox?

I can't reproduce this at all. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Does anybody else have this problem?

I played around again today.
It has something to do with the size of the border the printer uses i think.

here 3 tries with different printer border setting:

Standard Border

====================================================================

Minimum Border

====================================================================

No Border

Here are the printer settings i'm using

Good afternoon

I also have a printing problem, although different.
When printing a large hourglass chart, that does not fit in the browser window (wider and taller), then the right part is omitted. The lower part is nicely showing up.
The left part does not show up on pdf or on the printer. It looks it selects only a certain distance from the left side of the screen to print.

I am using a Mac with Safari. I tried also with Windows 10 and edge, the same problem.
I also tried the demo site, same problem. (Selected 4 generations and spouses)

To me it looks it has to do with the page being wider then the screen.
I don't know if the problem existed also on previous webtree versions

Thanks
Henk
