Im running 1.7.14 on originofthekirbys.com

I have new mp4 content which I have uploaded via ftp to a sub folder of media

When I head to manage media, the only subfolder option in the dropdown box is audio/ none of the other subfolders are listed.
I have added a simple png file to the directory to see if it will find the file, but no success; the subfolder remains hidden and the file is not included in the media content on the server.
Directory permission is 0755, files 0644

I then simply uploaded the file to the media directory and it remains undiscoverable.

Ideally, I would like to have the mp4 file in a subfolder (simpler to manage), but appreciate any thoughts.

I *think* that the drop-down list is generated from the database (i.e. from existing media objects).

This has been fixed in webtrees 2, which scans the filesystem to find folders.

Thanks. I finished up creating a new record directly in the SQL database and the directory is now listed.
