Hello,
For archiving purposes I migrated the productive instance from the source domain <myancestry.de/phpgedview/> to a new target domain <geneaologie-plus.de/phpgedview/>.

Steps:
1. Export of the source DB
2. Creation of a new DB inside the new target domain
3. Import of the old DB into the new DB
4. Copy of the files
5. Change of the "config.ini.php" to the new database
   dbhost="localhost"
   dbport="3306"
   dbuser="admin_db-NEW"
   dbpass="PW-NEW"
   dbname="db_NEW"
   tblpfx="wt_"
6. Inside the table 'wt_site_setting' I changed the 'SERVER_URL' from "myancestry.de/phpgedview/" to "geneaologie-plus.de/phpgedview/"

The source system still exists on the source domain.

When I visit webtrees on the new domain <geneaologie-plus.de/phpgedview/>, i still get redirected to the old domain myancestry.de/phpgedview/. What have I not considered, what else should I do?

best regards, Marko

This is working for me. If I visit that link, I stay on that site.

I guess you got this fixed?

If not, perhaps you should clear the cache in your web browser?

Thank you for your answer.
That's magic - I didn't do anything extra, right now it works for me. probably really a caching problem.
Best regards, Marko
