Traditionally I embedded webtrees as iFrame into my site. Now I migrated to wordpress with a new theme and would like to change the color palette of webtrees.

1. color adjustment
I stumbled across the style.css of course, but the definitions aren't really self-explanatory at first glance, so I fear a huge try at error orgy. Is there any documentation where which colors are defined for which elements?

2. I want to customize the iFrame embedding for different individual cases (i.e. not globally for the whole website) by hiding logo, menu or blocks by embed code, i.e. showing only parts. How do I find out the element names?

3. Where I can find the CSS-Style in webtrees 2.0?

Best regards, Marko

The theme files contain lots of documentation. e.g.
github.com/fisharebest/webtrees/blob/mas...webtrees.css#L62-L89

Class names beginning wt- are designed for styling and customisation.

Other class names are either obsolete or are used for scripting. Do not try to use these.

You can load many of the page components (blocks, charts, etc.) directly (no page headers) by using the correct URL.

For example, you can load most of the charts/lists/etc by adding &ajax=1 to the URL.
So, you may not need to load the entire page and hide the headers/footers...

Thank you Greg. This is important information for me.
For better understanding, could you explain me please, how do I open only the content box with the family facts, w/ot menue bar, title bar, etc. inside the iFrame?
myancestry.de/genealogie-dargel/

at the moment I use the relative path:
/phpgedview/family.php?famid=F1316&ged=MyAncestry.ged

> /phpgedview/family.php

You can access *most* pages.
But not family.php.
It is created as one complete page.

BTW - things become much easier with webtrees 2.0.
Wait a month...

You can access the tabs.

e.g. myancestry.de/phpgedview/individual.php?...odule=fancy_treeview

Again, with 2.0, you will have much more flexibility.

I testing now, but have a lot of problems, esp. with the open street map module.
genealogie-plus.de/phpgedview/index.php?...-page&ged=MyAncestry

I believe I want to stay on the old system a while.
