When I try to generate a report it doesn't do anything for PDF output.
I get the screen where I can choose some parameters, an ID and the kind of report I want, a PDF or HTML.
When I choose PDF nothing happens, when I choose HTML I get the report.
What could be wrong here?

Maybe you are missing some of the PHP extensions.

Often this happens when people upgrade to a newer version of PHP.

The old version includes the extensions, but the new version does not.

To test this, temporarily rename the file data/config.ini.php to something else. e.g. data/temp.php

Now visit your site and start the setup wizard. The first page will check for missiing PHP extensions.

If any are missing, you'll be given a list. Make a note of them.

Then restore the config.ini.php file.

Problem partly solved.

I had to put

ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit','2000000');

in the includes/session.php file.

Defaut the value = 1000000 on the server.
You can overwrite this with the above mentioned.
This solved a problem I had with Fancy_treeview_PDF with large reports.

The default reports are still not working.
