get Gedcom-file for an admin was created by Luenissla
Hello,
what happened to that an administrator of a file gets displayed no way to display and edit the GEDCOM record?

I mean that e is all set correctly.
Where did I miss something?

Thanks for any help.

Best regards / Viele Grüße

Sorry, I don't understand what the question is.
Could you try again, maybe in your own language?

Hallo Bert,

I have the settings selected in my files so that an administrator can see and edit raw Gedcom.

For a new user, which has been declared as an administrator, this option is missing.
I do not know where I can find the little screw.

Best regards / Viele Grüße

In the Control Panel -> User Administration, you can designate the role of each user. These roles are pre-defined in the webtrees software.
As "Administrator" - This role has all the permissions of the manager role in all family trees, plus permission to change the settings/configuration of the website, users, and modules. Usually this will be ONE person: you.
Normally, we will prefer to designate a "key user" as "Moderator" - This role has all the permissions of the editor role, plus permission to accept/reject changes made by other users.
Occasionally, we may designate a "Manager" - This role has all the permissions of the moderator role, plus any additional access granted by the family tree configuration, plus permission to change the settings/configuration of a family tree.

Hallo Thomas,

I suppose you mean the function in admin_users.php.
I am the administrator of the installation. "Administrator" is the one who has contributed a file and supervised.
There I set:

The user is thus to "Administrator". But he does not have the raw data gedcom function.

The menu option "Edit Raw GEDCOM" (GEDCOM Rohdaten bearbeiten) should be visible to users that are granted the privilege of administrator (Moderator / Verwalter) or editor (Bearbeiter) on that specific tree, but ONLY when the preference with technical name "SHOW_GEDCOM_RECORD" is ticked. You can find this option in the Control Panel under Family Trees - Manage family trees - Preferences - General - Allow users to see raw GEDCOM records
Auf Deutsch: Stammbäume - Stammbäume verwalten - Einstellungen - Allgemeines - Besuchern erlauben die GEDCOM-Rohdaten anzusehen

Note that this is under the "Edit" menu which people that may not edit cannot see. So it's then not available to literally all visitors.

Das war es. Ich war irgendwie "auf dem Holzweg".
Danke für die geduldige Nachhilfe!

That was it. I was kind of "on the wrong track".
Thank you for patiently tutoring!
