When I try to send message to existing user, pop-up window appears and everything is OK - messages working.

BUT, when I try to reply on message from unregistered user, I just got blank pop-up window.

What I need to check on my settings or... whatever? :)

If they are not registered, how did they send you the message?

click on bottom....

"For technical support or genealogy questions contact XXXXXXXX."

There is my name and mail, and I receive message from unregistered user. Right?

AND

When somebody register for new account, I receive message with info. I cannot reply on that message - I receive blank page.
Url on pop-up window are:
hxxp://DOMAIN/stablo/message.php?to=xxxx.xxxx%40gmail.com&subject=Odgovor%3A%20New%20registration%20at%20http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xxxxxxxxxxx%2Fstablo%2F%20Porodi%C4%8Dno%20stablo&ged=STABLO

You have found two issues.

1) messages from visitors
2) messages from unverified users

webtrees only sends messages to approved/verified users.

Therefore it cannot send messages to these two. It should not create a "mail link" for them.

Hmmm,

I think that you need to add this feature in settings - "allow sending emails to unapproved/unregistered users"like another option. Why? If someone unregistered write me message, I receive it in my messages, and it's logical that I can reply it. For security reasons, You can set as Default this option OFF.

Also, why I don't receive any info that I cannot reply it (or that function is not enable)? I just receive blank pop-up window.

Thanks m8.

In my page as administrator, I have messages from prospective users who want to be registered and webtrees has option for sending them Reply,
but when you click Reply button, a popup form with link to "message.php?to=newueser@xxx.com" appears with blank content....

Is it normal?

Blank pages indicate some sort of error.

Do you see any error messages in either the webtrees error log (via the control panel) or your webserver (e.g. apache, nginx or IIS) error log?

I also receive blank window...

Still I cannot see why this is not alowed?! Why just "to approved/verified users"?!

Do you need a web hosting solution for your webtrees site?
If you prefer a host that specialises in webtrees, the following page lists some suppliers able to provide one for you:
