My site demonstrates webtrees with the significant use of Chinese characters. I have a mirror site in Singapore, hopefully behind the great Chinese firewall. I try to use best practices to offer a collaborative genealogy site that is culturally sensitive to the Chinese audience. My USA mirror demonstrates successful hosting on a home ISP using a Raspberry Pi 2b. The Chinese mirror is joeclan.dazupu.net

The NOYON family tree contains more then 1000 persons, some 500 different surnames. The families’ origins are from France with many Huguenot forefathers, Dutch national (mainly Friesland) and international links, dating back to the 16th century.
Also linked to this site is www.noyon.org, the Noyon Family history, a website in English about the last known 14 generations of NOYONs, with an archive section of over 1000 pages of original documents from the 17th century up to the 1920’s of different family’s histories and other curiosities, all in downloadable pdf-format.
