If you need to upgrade your PGV installation, then hopefully you will also consider that you can conveniently move to webtrees with our PGV-to-webtrees wizard. It will move ALL your users, news, favorites and family trees to webtrees in a matter of minutes.

I have this problem, thanks for your help, I currently have a genealogy file with the extension .gb4b / Now I want to convert it to .gedcom/ Can anyone guide me. Or switch to webtrees. Thank you very much

I have never heard of this file format.

I cannot find it using google.

Which program created it?

This file is actually a .ZIP file.

Rename it to .zip, and you will be able to open it.

But - the zip file has a password.

That's right. I have switched to zip and see small files inside but need a password to open

I cannot read it.

You must find out which program created it.
