Question Redesigned Cloudy Ready For Testing

Nigel asked me to redo the Cloudy theme and base it on colors. I have put cloudy2 in SVN and would ask for comments.

For background - I was keen to see a design that LOOKED the same as cloudy, but did not require as much javascriot, both in the theme files and in various core system files to function. I think Rob has achieved this very well. Just a few minor tweaks required as far as I can see so far.

Nice job - Pretty close to me, but then I never felt that Cloudy was self-explanatory enough in navigation so I haven't used it, nor recommended it. The tiny icons don't mean much to me and I'm somewhat familiar with the program

I agree that the icons are not particularly intuitive, but I like the fact that they are less “gaudy” than those of the default theme.

Any suggestions as to what might make them more intuitive? Not hard to find different designs if I know what I'm looking for.

Hmmm. I’ll have to think about it. Many of them are good, but I remember way back when thinking some of them were not.
