FAM table in search results was created by WGroleau
I am not sure whether it’s a bug, or a temporary condition while a new design is being developed.

In search results (snapshot 8895), down in the family table, no pids or famids are visible, and both parties’ names are linked to the family record. There are no links to the individual’s records.

Entirely by design, and not meant to be a temporary condition.

1 - PIDs or FIDs etc are not displayed anywhere. That was a very conscious decision. Takes some getting to used to if you have relied on them before, but does make a much cleaner display. If you need the ID, it is displayed in browser status bars as part of the URLs - those have been modified to ensure that does happen.

2 - There has never been a link (from names) to INDI records in the FAM results of a search. The names always linked (in PGV still do) to the FAM record. To reach an INDI record from search, either use the INDI list results, or go via the FAM display.

Well, so it is. I always used the PIDs and FAMIDs to jump to either and only assumed the names were links. to the persons.

Yes, it is much less cluttered. Will have to get used to it, though. :-)
