Experimental relationship code works was created by WGroleau
Or at least it certainly worked on “great-uncle's wife's first cousin once removed descending's wife's mother”
I suppose one might want “great-uncle's wife's first cousin once removed descending's mother-in-law” but I think it’s pretty good as is.

It works by splitting the relationship path at each wife/husb/spouse, and translating each part separately. e.g.
[part one] spouse [part two] spouse [part thre] ....
So, you'll never get the mother-in-law link at the end.
It seems to work OK in English. Other languages don't have the simple possessive forms (X's Y's Z), so translate this as "great-uncle -> wife -> first cousin once removed descending -> wife -> mother". Not quite as pretty.
I'm going to leave it for a while, to get some feedback from other languages before considering any changes.

For Finnish I'll have to use the arrows '->'.
Adding 's to words works for English, but not for Finnish.
