Because of my customization, I no longer remember what the default behavior was for the list of stories seen in the menu ...
I remember an important point: you can define for which languages the story will be shown, so you can create the same story translated for each language of your site (on my site, for now, the stories are only visible in Portuguese)

It still exists.
1) add the "research tasks" block to your home page.
2) enable the _TODO (research task) event in the family-tree preferences
3) add research tasks to your individuals.
Can someone please explain what exactly I need to do for step 2? Do I add this as a type of fact for a family record? (e.g. Facts for family records -> All family facts)? I'm running 2.0.7.

One more question.
How do you proceed to add a image (uploaded to webtrees) to the story.
On my side I copy the link of the image, and past it to URL
The question, is there another possibility to pick the image based on the title ?

This is the way to do it. Just be careful not to copy the thumbnail's address instead of copying the image's. You can also use images from outside the webtrees. In my case I have an "images" folder outside the webtrees directory to place images that I use to illustrate my texts (which most of the time are not about individuals, as I modified the module for a wider use as I already mentioned)

Especially in France some times we have to switch between 2 calendars :
Gregorian and Republican.
17 September 1792 corresponding to Republic year 0
Is there an easy way to switch from one Calendar to another Calendar ?
Thanks in advance

What do you mean "switch"?
In the family-tree preferences, there is an option for "calendar conversion".
If you select "Gregorian", then all non-Gregorian dates will be shown with the converted Gregorian date.

It is to know how do you proceed to navigate through the family tree.
In fact I muss confess that I'm not really a fan of the interactive tree navigating
The picture is to small
And it is not really practice
The approach provided on geneanet is more suitable
have we something equivalent for webtrees 2.x ?
More user friendly ?

What is your preferred tool that you use to navigate through your family tree ?
Does the : "Tree View Full Screen - by UksusoFF" , is the actual unique solution relative to the issue faced and highlighted above ?
I'm surprised that the "Full Screen" was not intrinsic of the interactive tree navigating ?
Thanks for your feedback

Personally, I think your question is too vague to give a good answer. If you think the boxes in the interactive tree are too small and you like Geneanet, then obviously your tree is quite small!
In my tree I have several surnames where the "root individual" has more than 500 descendants in 8+ generations. For these people, the Descendants report runs 50 pages or more. I don't think any graphical tree representation is going to be very useful for randomly exploring such a large tree.
- If I want to find a random individual, then navigating the tree is much slower than looking them up via Lists -> Individuals (or perhaps Lists -> Branches).
- If I want to move from the current individual to a "reasonably close" relative (e.g., a second cousin or great-grandparent, say, rather than a parent, sibling or child), then I simply click on the Interactive tree tab (as opposed to Charts -> Interactive Tree) to help me choose which family member to click on next in the Family Navigator
Finally, I'd like to say that orienting the generations in the Interactive Tree to be side-to-side (rather than up-and-down, like Geni or Geneanet) is brilliant. Writing a person's name inside forces each box to be much wider than it is tall. Conversely, the number of descendants in each generation grows exponentially. For example, if each individual has 2 children then a tree with 8 generations would have 256 people on the bottom level. Similarly, an individual has 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, etc. If each box in the tree was just 10 characters wide and 1 character tall, then the Interactive tree would be 256 wide x 80 tall (plus white space), whereas a vertically-oriented tree would be 2560 wide x 8 tall (plus white space).
