At 02:00, I woke suddenly, and in my head was a full and clear understanding of how the code worked, and how it failed under certain conditions - a combination of caching and concurrent access

A new release of webtrees is available - 2.1.17
The changes are listed at webtrees.net/blog/
Sorry it has been a long time since the last release. I have needed to spend a lot of time caring for an elderly relative.
I hope to return to a more regular release cycle, every 4-6 weeks.
There is now a 2.2 branch of the code, and I am currently working on 2.1 and 2.2 together.

Hello Greg,
there's nothing to apologise for. Thank you for all the effort you put into the constant development of webtrees.

Greg, thank you for this! Family time is important, especially when someone is ill or near the end of their life. I'm grateful that you spend the time on webtrees and appreciate how complex it has become.

what about the 23 pull requests?
Why are they not included?
At least some of them should be included!
